What Bidwatch collects and displays

Bidwatch searches and displays public eBay listing data returned by the eBay Browse API. This can include listing titles, prices, item URLs, listing end times, shipping details, bid status, and seller usernames shown on public listings.

What Bidwatch stores

Bidwatch stores only the minimum app data needed to operate and monitor performance, such as cached listing snapshots, request metadata, and server logs. Bidwatch does not create user profiles for visitors and does not require account registration.

eBay credentials and sign-in

Bidwatch uses its own eBay developer credentials server-side to request public listing data. Those credentials are not exposed to visitors. Users do not sign in with eBay in Bidwatch.

eBay policy alignment

Bidwatch handles eBay data in a way intended to remain consistent with the eBay Privacy Notice and eBay API License Agreement requirements for applications using eBay Developer Tools and eBay Content.
